YuleFest 2008

Each year, as the Christmas season comes to a close, a talented group
of actors and musicians join
together to put on YuleFest, an extraordinary stage production held at
Christ Church. Large audiences from around the region come to take part
in this festivous night of singing, dancing and feasting; this year's
celebration was no exception.
January
5th,
2008 marked the 9th annual YuleFest and another big hit! Again under
the
direction of our Master of Ceremonies Henry Chapin, the cast pulled off
a spectacular production of the mummer's comedy "St. George & the
Dragon." Audiences were treated to both timeless and contemporary
selections from the YuleFest chorus, including the ever
popular 12 Days. Truly a special treat this year was the
toe-tapping music of the Ash Creek String Band, which has been
entertaining audiences throughout New England and New York for over 30
years.
YuleFest 2008 was an event wholeheartedly enjoyed by all. Be sure to
check back here as winter approaches for updates on the next
YuleFest!
