| Historical Lincoln Creche Displayed |
There will be a rare display of the nativity set commissioned by President Lincoln's granddaughter, Mary (Lincoln) Isham, the only daughter of Robert Lincoln, son of President Lincoln. The creche was a gift to Christ Episcopal Church from Mary Lincoln in 1935. A total of three of these sets were commissioned by Mrs. Isham and then it is believed the mold was destroyed. The artist was Robert Robbins. The creche will only displayed during worship on Christmas Eve, December 24th at 1:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., and 10:00 p.m. It will be located in front of the main altar. The church is located at 2000 Main Street, Stratford, CT. To contact us, please call 203-375-4447 or e-mail us at ccstratford@att.net or on the web at www.christchurchstratford.org

Every Wednesday from 5:00-6:00pm. All are welcome. We need volunteer liaisons from our parish to be present with the worshiping communities bringing weekly meals for hospitality.
Churches of the Stratford Clergy Association rotate serving the meals. Christ Episcopal Church will next be serving November 9th. Vazzano's Four Seasons is again generously donating the food. Contact Sue Hovan or Pastor Mary to sign up to serve or to provide weekly hospitality to the other churches that are serving. For any questions or information, call the church office 203-375-4447.
