COMMUNITY MEAL - Hosted at Christ Church every Wednesday from 5:00-6:00 p.m, the Community Meal is sponsored by the Stratford Clergy Association. A hot meal, with salad, entree, bread, dessert and beverages is served in Christ Church's parish hall by a different church in Stratford each week. All are welcome.
MOTHER'S DAY BREAKFAST and FLOWERS FOR EACH WOMAN - Please come to the Parish Hall on Mother's Day, May 13th at 9:00 a.m. for a wonderful breakfast hosted by Rick Marcone and Amy Taylor. A free-will offering will be collected. We also give thanks that in honor of the long tradition of the late Charlie Nichols, two parishioners are donating roses for each woman on Mother's Day. The roses will be available in the Church at the Chancel steps.
NETS FOR LIFE - The Sunday School children, in conjunction with the Outreach Commission, are having a bake sale for Nets for Life. This program provides mosquito nets to protect children and families from mosquito-borne diseases such as malaria. The children will be hosting the bake sale on Sunday, May 20th from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall.
BOOK SALE: Each month we have a book sale (please donate your used books ahead of time) which is sponsored by our Buildings and Grounds Commission. E-mail ccstratford@att.net or call 203-375-4447 for the date of the next book sale.
WORSHIP AT THE BEACH - Come to Short Beach, Stratford, Pavilion #1, on Sunday, June 24th at 10:00 a.m. for worship, fun, and sun. This is our annual beach service and it's a great picnic.
SUMMER WORSHIP - Worship during the summer (from July 1st) will be at 9:00 a.m. each Sunday.
