Our Doors Are Always Open

WELCOME REVEREND LESLEY HAY
It was with a thankful and joyful spirit that we announced the call of the Reverend Lesley Hay to be the 31st Rector of Christ Church. In her, we discern a faithful priest skilled in preaching, parish growth, pastoral care as well as working with children and youth. Reverend Hay's first service at Christ Church was the celebration of the Eucharist on September 30, 2012 and she was welcomed with open arms.

THANKSGIVING & THE LORD'S KITCHEN (November 21, 2012):

CC welcomed our guests at the Wednesday Lord's Kitchen dinner who joined us to give thanks for life's blessings. A turkey dinner was enjoyed by all! At 6PM, CC hosted a short service for the church communities represented in the Stratford Clergy Association. State Senator Richard Blumenthal attended the service and issued 2 proclamations, one from the U.S. Senate (signed by Senator Blumenthal) and one from Governor Dannel P. Malloy. These proclamations honored all the fine work done by all of the volunteers of The Stratford Clergy Association's Outreach program. This year's dinner was recognized as the Second Annual Thanksgiving Dinner. And it is planned to have many more in the years ahead. Please consider volunteering your time at one of our dinners. It is a very rewarding and fulfilling experience.

If interested, please call the church office at 203-375-4447. Thank you!

The Lord's Kitchen Outreach Program
Every Monday and Wednesday from 5:00-6:00pm. All are welcome. We need volunteer liaisons from our parish to be present with the worshiping communities bringing weekly meals for hospitality.

Churches of the Stratford Clergy Association rotate serving the meals.  Contact church office to sign up to serve or to provide weekly hospitality to the other churches that are serving.  For any questions or information, call the church office 203-375-4447.
